Protective measures urged in public spaces

The Government of Canada says it is important to use protective measures while in public outdoor spaces. This includes areas like trails, beaches, campgrounds and parks—including playgrounds and dog parks.
A news release also suggests measures such as avoiding large groups or crowding, washing or sanitizing your hands after touching common surfaces, and playing only low-contact recreational sports where you can keep a two-metre distance from other participants.
